AgentsLab is ISO 27001 certified

On 6 July we achieved ISO 27001 certification, the international standard for information security. A milestone we are proud of, and above all a promise to everyone who entrusts their process to us.

A milestone we worked towards

Our AI coworkers operate at the heart of our customers' back office. They read orders, invoices and service tickets and post directly into the ERP: SAP, AFAS, Exact, Dynamics 365, Odoo or Bouwworks. As a company you only earn that trust when your security is demonstrably in order. From our very first customer we have built with security as the starting point: data processing within the EU, encryption of data at rest and in transit, role-based access control and a human in the loop for every decision that matters.

With ISO 27001 certification that is now independently confirmed. An external auditor reviewed our entire Information Security Management System and confirmed that it is in place and works in practice. That makes us proud. Everyone makes promises about security; we can now show it in black and white.

How we approached it

As a growing company, a certification programme is something you take on alongside day-to-day delivery to more than twenty customers. We deliberately chose to do it early. We would rather set the bar high now, while the organisation is compact and every decision lands directly in our daily work, than patch things up later when a customer or tender demands it.

The audit was carried out by Brand Compliance, an accredited certification body. In setting up our ISMS we were guided by Fendix, and that collaboration accelerated the process considerably. We received the certificate on 6 July 2026.

For us this is not a finish line. ISO 27001 calls for annual external audits and continuous improvement, and that is exactly how we treat it: as a way of working that is a fixed part of how we build and deliver.

What this means for our customers and partners

If you are already a customer, nothing changes in the day-to-day collaboration. Your AI coworker works just as you are used to. What is new is that you can now demonstrate, internally and to your own customers, that your process runs with a certified party.

If you are considering an AI coworker, vendor assessment becomes a good deal simpler. Where your security team previously ran its own questionnaire, there is now independently audited evidence. That saves time in procurement and discussion with IT.

And the same goes for our implementation partners: in conversations with your customers' IT and security teams, there is now a solid foundation to build on.
